"La Cascade aux Ecrevisses "(The Crayfish Waterfall) will surely be your first stop, a little further on the road you will find Guadeloupe Zoo(the Parc Des Mamelles), and then arrive on the leeward coast withits incredible views of the Caribbean Sea. 

From there, you will reach the beautiful black sandy beach of Malendure. Wear a mask and snorkel and discover the superb seabed of Pigeon Islands while swimming with the turtles that are frequently present in these clear waters.

On the Pointe-Noire side, you will have a great time at the "Maison du Cacao" or during a picnic at the "Saut D'Acomat". But don't stop there, return to the North of Basse-Terre to discover some of the most beautiful beaches of Guadeloupe: Grande-Anse Beach and "La Perle Beach", both with absolutely magnificent golden sand. As for the village of Deshaies, it is essential to take a walk there or to have a meal in one of the incredibly good seafood restaurants.
