Located approximately 10 minutes car ride away from the villa, the distillery Clement is a must-see including a beautiful garden, art collection and of course a rum processing plant. There are numerous activities on the atlantic coast of Martinique to keep you occupied throughout your vacation on the island such as Kitesurfing and windsurfing. The Pointe Faula for example is an excellent place to stay for the day with a local restaurant serving creole food and a nautical base offering kitesurf lessons and kayak rental. The beach is not very wide but there are plenty of shade in the grassy areas bordering the beach. It is a true paradise-like setting with clear and warm water. There are also boat excursions which are available from the Robert or le François marina to discover the famous “ Fonds blancs” (sandbank in the middle of the sea) unless you rather prefer to book transparent kayaks in Pointe Chaudière.
