Rum lovers will appreciate this exclusive setting in the heart of a very well kept distillery. You will discover the whole process of how rum is made and will enjoy a rum tasting.  The domain is secured by a gate and a parking lot is located in front of the main house to park your vehicle safely. Please note that a boutique called “La compagnie du rhum” is located on the domain and open to the public. There you will be able to buy a wide range of rum – the white, the aged and the special rums

With its three air-conditioned bedrooms, including two double bedrooms and a quadruple bedroom with two bunk beds, La Distillerie can accommodate up to 8 travelers. Each bedroom has a private bathroom with walk-in shower and WC. The large terrace bordering the villa leads to the bedrooms as well as the living room including a lounging nook and a fully fitted kitchen. The decoration combines tradition and modernity. The third bedroom is accessible from the kitchen.

For your comfort, you will find upon arrival some basic food for your first dinner (pasta & rice) and your first breakfast as well as a welcome drink!

The outside areas are just as beautiful as the inside of this gorgeous villa and make it possible to enjoy Caribbean style outdoor living! The tree and flower-filled garden is perfectly manicured. The terrace is the ideal spot to enjoy meals in the shade vwith a view over the two swimming pools. For sport lovers, a private tennis court is at your disposal.

While staying at the villa la Distillerie, you will have the privilege of producing your own rum (with an extra charge). This distillery is the first one in Martinique to offer such an experience and we definitely recommend it to you! 

We also strongly recommend you to take advantage of the location of the villa to do some sightseeing. The villa is a 20-minute car ride away from the beaches of Macabou, a kitesurfing paradise in Martinique. It is also possible to enjoy horseback riding along the beaches of Macabou. For a postcard setting, go to the beach of Les Salines, about 30 minutes away by car; the perfect spot to enjoy a tan session, eat an homemade coconut sorbet or buy some tropical fruits. In just 10 minutes you will be either in the town of le François or le Vauclin with its grocery stores and well stocked markets.
